Straight from the device, no extra processing. The sequencer plays on its own, the knobs move like in a live set.

Endless sequencer

It asks a question and answers it

Phrase after phrase, the line evolves while keeping its memory. A track can run for minutes without looping.

  • Knobs shape, they don't reroll. Density adds notes, Groove moves the rhythm, Scale transposes the line. The melody stays.
  • Groove from techno to breaks on a single knob.
  • LOCK freezes a question-and-answer pair. Evolve at zero holds the pattern still.
  • Drag the loop length right on the screen, from 16 steps down to 3.

A model of the original circuit, with the extras producers have been adding to it for decades.

  • Diode ladder filter model with its resonance bump, 4x oversampled.
  • Saw and square, sub oscillator, vibrato, glide and accent.
  • Four distortion styles and a limiter at the output.
  • ADV page: accent decay, sweep, filter FM, key tracking, attack, amp decay.
  • The smiley rolls a new acid sound. There is one more trick in the manual.

Questions

Do I need Ableton Live Suite?

You need Live 12 Suite, or Live 12 Standard with the Max for Live add-on. Live Intro and Lite can't run Max for Live devices.

Does it work on Windows?

Max for Live devices usually run on both systems, but KISSLOTA has been tested on macOS only so far. If you are on Windows, write to me before buying.

How do I get the device after paying?

You receive an email with a download link. Unzip the archive and drag KISSLOTA.amxd onto a MIDI track.

Can I use it in commercial releases?

Yes. Everything you record with KISSLOTA is yours.

Can I record the sequencer into a clip?

Yes. Drag the pattern from the screen to a MIDI clip, or freeze the track. Freeze renders exactly what you hear.
